HIGHLIGHTS | Man City 0-2 Tottenham Hotspur | Johnson & Palhinha Goals

City’s first home game of the new season ended in a 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur.
The Blues spurned a couple of decent opportunities before conceding two late goals in the first period.

From there on, a focused and organised Tottenham rarely looked like conceding in a game Pep Guardiola and his players will want to move quickly on from.

  1. My head is still hot after this. It’s ok beating relegation fodder like Wolves but come up against any half decent team and it’s the same issues from last season.

The game itself – no fight, no desire, no ideas.

And as for Trafford, he needs to understand very quickly this isn’t Burnley level anymore!!!

  2. We're all laughing now, but I will never underestimate City 🙏 Second half of the season City is a different beast which is why i will do a Stake bet on us winning the league after we lose some in the first half. We looked great the first game and shouldnt be pessimistic cuz of only one loss 🙂

  3. You should give Xusanov a chance. Did you buy him just to leave him on the bench? Trust him, and you will see that he will live up to your confidence, God willing. He is very strong—use his abilities properly, Mr. Coach.

  4. This joke against Spurs should actually stop. This playing from the back should be limited when it isn't necessary. We didn't sign-up for such performance and results this season especially at home. At least a fixed starting 11 could be a solution. Get a dedicated RB too
