LAFC have been hilariously pathetic in recent months
This is a coaching problem. The fact that this LAFC team is not scoring is unbelievable, with the talent they have in attacking positions. Someone in the offensive coaching staff has told them to ignore every creative option in the final third and take the shot themselves, nearly every fucking time. When Bogusz or Boanga get to the top of they box, they invariably take the shot, when there are at least two good passing or crossing options open. Whoever is urging them to take those chances for themselves needs to be fired. All you need in MLS is to score, not fill the highlight reel. One of the poorer sides (financially and talent-wise) in the western conference, RSL, knows that all they needed was to score one goal. And look where it got them: 3 points on the road…
This is ridiculous, it has been going on for the the entire second half of the season, and it has to stop or we won’t have a chance at silverware. Coaches in this league are too smart for this bullshit to work. I’m kind of fucking fuming, if you can’t tell. Change this mentality!!

Watching more MLS highlights because of the Messi hype and have to say that overall, especially in the final third, the quality is poor. Not sure whether it's poor coaching or whether the players are simply not good enough. MLS needs better attacking players/strikers.
