Puig doing his best Neymar impression rolling around on the ground trying to win an Oscar realizing the only chance of victory was with a handicapped opponent. People wonder why soccer isn’t as popular as other American sports and all you have to do is look at the acting performance of the year by Puig as the reason why. Until the MLS or any other soccer league starts mocking, chastising, and treating those who flop as pariahs to the sport instead of rewarding them, you’ll never see soccer shoot above any of the other major sports in popularity. It’s just embarrassing that a grown man competing as a professional can actually call himself a competitor in any sense while behaving like that. Yet even a man up like that it still wasn’t enough to win.
