Juventus play poorly the all game and Stutgard deserve the win, but the referee was horrible: During the all game Stutgard player kept on stopping the attack grabbin the shirt of Juventus player without getting punished. Thuram in the first half runs with the guy attached to his shirt for 20 yards, nothing. The forward on a yellow card arrive late and deserve the second yellow, on the penalty given, Danilo commits the faul, but there was a blatant push on the Juventus defender (VAR see one, but doesn't see the other one???). On Yildiz, with the ball outside of play, was pushed violently to the board outside the field (totally a violent play away from the ball: VAR: nothing).
If increasing the games means these are going the referee we are going to get, another reason to prefer the old format of the Champions League.
