  1. As a newcomer to MLS, having previously only watched some European soccer, particularly Italy's Serie A, I was pleasantly surprised to see former Napoli captain Lorenzo Insigne and former Juventus winger Federico Bernardeschi on the pitch for Toronto. It is really a thrill to watch such an intense MLS match and see a Toronto team boasting both Insigne and Bernardeschi still lose 2-3. This game showed me that the quality of play in MLS must be quite high if a team with players of that caliber can lose. With Lionel Messi also coming to this league, it's clear I need to start following MLS more closely going forward.

  2. "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). We must also repent from our sins.

  3. Toronto lost 3-2 a game in which they were leading 2-1. They need to learn how defend without panicking.
DC’s 1-0: no one was pressing the striker who could easily shoot from outside the box; DC’s 2-2: Toronto’s central back decided to take a nap during the cross; DC’s 3-2 seems like Toronto’s defenders were panically running random.

And, to be fair, Toronto’s 1-1 is a penalty-gift causes by a stupid foul.
