  1. SKC dominated the game throughout and kicked ATL butt in their living room. I don’t know what’s the hype about ATL perhaps they have money to waste on useless players. ATL should go back to USL league where they belong.

  2. Every time someone loses there's always excuses, excuses, and excuses. SKC just played this game good, that's all, stop crying and deal with the loss. Plenty more games to go around, hopefully this isn't the same for the excuses.

  3. That Atlanta 6’ was definitely a goal. People saying that it was a deflection is just stupid. He clearly lunged and tapped the ball to Martinez. Based on the current rules on offsides, that is 100% a goal.

  4. I'm astonished at how stupid some people are. The defender deliberately played the ball to the Atlanta United player, therefore the goal should stand. The SKC defender plays the ball back towards the goal, obviously not in an effort to clear the ball, but rather pass back to the keeper or another defender. That's clearly a pass back and not a non deliberate deflection. However, if that was an attempted clearance, I really wouldn't be surprised considering most of SKC's players are complete trash. One of them shot the ball and it went out for a throw, another skied a tap in over the crossbar from 2 or 3 yards out. So in short, the defender was trying to pass back and NOT clear the ball.

The red card was absolutely a red card, however I can't disagree with the fact that this referee was extremely one sided and biased against Atlanta. This is not the first time Mark Geiger has been accused of bad officiating, he's screwed major international fixtures up before, and it's quite scary that he's going to be officiating in Russia.

    Mark Geiger should be fired.

  5. MLS WUSSES, NOT SHOWING ANY OF THE REPLAYS FOR EACH CALL!! REFEREES ARE BIASED AND YALL ARE DEFENDING THEM!!
    (Nice goal from Salloi though)

  6. Its cute KC thinks they are better than United when Atlanta was dominating the game up until the red card. How about you wait until you play a team at their best before declaring yourselves the best in MLS. That's like beating the Patriots if Brady was injured

  7. Its hard to gauge this result because we didn't get a clear matchup as Atlanta played down a man and with a rookie GK seeing his first minutes for most of the match. Still, give SKC their due. They are a multifaceted and deep team with a good manager. Their defense, with Melia, Opara, Besler, Medranda, and Sanchez, is outstanding. Also, SKC is a very physical squad. Finally, even with a man down and the green GK, Atlanta had its chances.

  8. Dammit, Brad Guzan…that red card essentially doomed the 5 Stripes here. Bah. 😝😝

Well, the streak had to end sometime…well done, SKC. Now we have some frustration to take out on Orlando on Mother's Day (but no stupid fouls and/or red cards, 5 Stripes!! 😡😡)
