Best finish I've seen from Cristian – patience and poise, cutting it back to shoot against the flow of the defense and keeper. Hopefully we get more of that.
But come on – why is our defense SO passive? It has become Sounders style to never pressure the ball, just keep falling back and giving guys all day to rip shots from 20+ yards out. It has to stop.
"Rusnak can shoot"… hmm… apparently not, missed the whole goal from only 20 yards away and no pressure. Makes the perfect run to far post and then misses with a volley completely also. Wouldn't be so critical, but given the $$$$ he's making it needs to be much better. The young guys on the bench seem more effective.
