I understand that Henry was invincible but nedved won it , Henry's goal scoring and assists that year was unmatched yes but nedved was playing in the best league in the world at that time, led juve to UCL final that juve lost because he didn't play, a player that totti said is unplayable, won the league and coppa Italia , he was everything Juventus that year and that was it. But for someone to win the award of 2023 because of 2022 performance is what I simply don't understand. So Messi deserves to win because of an international tournament that was before the period that should have counted for the ballon dor 2023 but when sneijder won a treble and world cup finalist absolutely killed it in the World Cup 2010 but he didn’t get it over Messi then it’s fine ?
