  1. Thierry Henry not only argued and proved his point extremely well, but he also destroyed the whole modern day 'woke' nonsense movement, which has made so many people think and act like victims.

  2. American players and coaches are respected to the appropriate level in the UK. We rated Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan and Brian McBride because they actually did things in the Premier League and in European football. And we don't rate your managers because none have been a success in England. We don't rate you if you haven't achieved much in Europe, because let's face it, the MLS isn't even respected in the USA by most people. If you want to change that it's on US players and managers to convince us you're as good as you think you are, by actually achieving things the would impress us. That might sound arrogant, but I have to ask you this, do Americans respect English Football (not Soccer, NFL) coaches?

  3. The best American player ever wouldn’t be in the best 250 players to have played the game. As Dempsey said you have to earn respect. 40 years ago African players weren’t respected now Salah, Mane, Mahrez, Yaya Toure, Drogba are the amongst the best prem players ever.

  4. I'm English, and I can actually see where Charlie is coming from here a little. We do have a "tiny" superiority complex when it comes to football lol. People do often make jokes about Americans, and our media is always rougher on international players in general. With that said, its the production seen on the pitch that matters wherever someone is from.

  5. Things is respect got be be earned by resultats as a coach. Look at tottleham, when angie came everybody was like "who is this nobody from Australia who coached in Japanese League"

  6. I will say I get where he’s coming from, when I came to America in the 90s from Brazil I remember my friends and family would ask how am I doing and make jokes about how Americans have “wooden foot” when it comes to soccer. But on the other hand your playing in Europe because of your unique talent no matter where you come from. Show them the best version of you in the field.
