  1. Woman messes up: "can we all admire what a beautiful shot it was even though it was the wrong goal"

Man messes up: "what a bloody bell ed get em off the team"

  2. Own Goals are harsh. I was rooting for Japan (USA Fan) mainly cause i wanted the rematch and i like Aya Miyama. I didn't want to see it end like that though. This was a decent game but just a harsh ending. it's why i never like to play Defense on my Rec team lol.

  3. Don't worry England Japan still lost MURICA ARE DA CHAMPS🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  4. This girl is an absolute stalwart for this team. She was everywhere in this game. She had just finished getting possession of the ball for her side when Toni Duggan made an ill advised pass to White, but it fell short and was intercepted. Carney was wide open on the right side and Toni Duggan could have advanced the ball along the left side safely, but she made that ill advised pass instead. She and Rafferty did not play in their next game against Germany for 3rd place.

  5. Wow. Just let the ball go. If you look you can see her teammate step in and she would have stopped the ball anyways. And why she would kick forward is beyond me
