Ten Hag was phenomenal as well at Ajax and so were the other managers prior to him, except OGS but he still did a good job at Molde. The problem is obviously not the manager(s) and Amorim isn't going to be a quick fix for the club.
man u fans think this guy will give them instant results. amorim is a great coach and great communicator, but dont expect instant results, amorim is the kinda coach that will need 3-4 seasons to get man united where it needs to be, but i dont think premiere league teams have that sort of patience.

1) Ajax hasn’t won the league in 3-4 years pre Ten Haag
2) Amorim didn’t win the league twice on the spin. Benfica and Porto both won in between the two wins Amorim has.

You are putting Amorim on a pedestal. Be careful because that pedestal could fall very quickly. Let's talk about what no one wants to discuss: Amorim's weaknesses, which cost us two championships. First, let me clarify that Amorim has been at Sporting for five years and won two championships. The first was during the COVID season when Benfica and Porto suffered greatly from the pandemic, facing long absences of key players!
The second championship he won was largely due to the signing of two top players, Gyökeres and Hjulmand. Interestingly, both were initially rejected by Amorim, but the management went ahead and signed them anyway, as he himself admitted. We can start our discussion here:
Amorim is terrible at recruiting! Dozens of players came to Sporting only to turn out to be major failures, some even leaving in the same season they arrived!
Amorim is very stubborn. This stubbornness cost us two championships! He insisted one striker was enough, and kept flops like Esgaio in the team!
Amorim only knows one playing system. He only knows how to play with three central defenders and with the goalkeeper playing out from the back. Sporting struggles immensely against teams that press high. He’s incapable of preparing an alternative system and can only play this way.
Amorim is very poor at reading the game. United fans will quickly realize this! He makes substitutions without any logic, completely out of context, often disrupting the team's rhythm!
Don’t believe everything he says! He lies a lot! He’s not a man of his word! He said United was the club he wanted, but last year he got on a plane to England to sign for West Ham while the Portuguese championship was ongoing! This year, he abandoned the project, the club, and the players after just 10 matches. He will do the same with you!
Tim Sherwood might be the dumbest pundit out there. His comment about ten hag having it easy with Ajax, why haven’t they won it since he left? Why did they have a drought before he joined. He didn’t do it at United, and it was right to sack him. But dismissing what he did at Ajax is a clown move.
What do you mean ten Hag had no style? I remember full well when he came in everyone was raving about possession-based football (dutch-school of football innit?) to change from Ole's yeet-it-and-counter style and Rangnick's nothingness. Even in press conferences you can hear EtH complaining that he does not have the players to play that style of football. Pundits talking just for the sake of it once again.
What is a fact about this manager is that he’s a modern day manager, the games changed and he’s young enough to know enough about the way football is nowadays….. I think he’s got character and it’s gonna show right through the dressing room in the end…. Remember everyone has an opinion right or wrong, this is mine 👍🏾

football in Portugal is religion, they don't know the pressure that a coach has here there are 5 teams that don't fight to go down, the rest fight to stay and there are 18 in total. Championships are decided on who loses the least points with them. Those outside think that scoring here in Portugal is easy but Europe's top 6 is perhaps, along with Italy, the place where scoring a goal is most difficult. Amorim has already known success and failure but his teams are always a pleasure to watch play of course they don't always win but if you play well 99% of the games you are closer.
Let's be real. It has nothing to do with Ruud, but these same players down tools, and when the manager is sacked they come out of the woodwork, until next time. They have done this time and time again, and media keep blaming the managers.
