I don't see them improving much they basically bought the same players they did a season ago without a holding midfielder so if they can't control the midfield there going to keep on losing like they did last season you can buy all the offensive players you want but when Real Madrid won all those Championship League titles they had the best midfield in the world with Modtic, Kroos ,& Casemiro this midfield they have aren't even close to that team plus they have too many divas this team will not win nothing again plus I see Mou not solving any problems but being a problem this team is not built correctly at all but what can you expect from a Hype beast like Florentino Perez

I’ve been saying this for a while…Madrid needs someone to control the tempo of the game. There’s a reason why the team has looked disjointed since Kroos left….and they don’t seem interested in trying to find a replacement. There was a time when I thought Camavinga would somehow grow into that role(no idea what I was thinking). Let’s see what Mourinho will do with them this season, it’s not that they CAN’T win any thing, it’s just that on paper they seem to be missing a key piece.
But it’s not the paper that plays the games, so while we speculate, we can’t tell until game day.

Crowded front lines, very weak defensive midfield. This team needed Vitinha not Silva. There is no one to set the tempo and organize an attack. Let’s hope their defense and offense will compensate for the lack in midfield. It means all of them, Vinnie and Mbappe and Yan need to get back to defense as well, and let’s hope they won’t be exhausted .

People are misreading Silva’s role. It’s not about making the midfield more defensive—it’s about taking pressure off Bellingham. With Silva sitting deeper, Bellingham doesn’t have to drop back every time. Silva wins the ball, moves it forward, and lets Bellingham do what he does best as a box-to-box player. Dumfries provides cover, so Bellingham can commit forward without always worrying about tracking back. And if the play breaks down, a long pass can switch the field and reset the attack.
This is a club with more trophies than most, still relevant at the highest level. Criticism is fine, but let’s keep it where it matters. Not every team has a perfect defense—La Liga’s backlines aren’t exactly ironclad either. Football is a team game. If Rudiger’s aging, his experience and aggression can still lift those around him, and Cucurella’s addition helps too
