I think looking at the way Harry Kane has played, the performances he’s put in week in week out at Bayern Munich, you can see Tottenham were holding him back. He needed to leave for his own legacy in the game. He could have gone to Man United or Man City and he’d have already broke Shearer’s record but he treat Tottenham fans with respect.
