  1. Hasselbaink was prolific – won 2 Golden Boots and La Liga top scorer but never won more than a Portuguese Cup. Lost 4 Cup finals and left Chelsea before they won 2 league titles. Unlucky compared to Gudjohnsen who won everything in his time at Chelsea and Barca.

  2. Both are gentlemen and where world-class strikers. When Hasselbaink said lampard is a very rich guy lol coming of a former professional. Greetings of a club-brugge fan. Gudjohnson salute.

  3. Good point about Giroud from Gudjohnsen about Giroud moving into a similar situation although I think with Europa League to play for, Coppa Italia and Serie A Giroud would definitely have featured a lot more often than he has done at Chelsea. The biggest problem being as long as Lukaku is fit and on form he probably wouldn't be dropped much. Why rest him in Serie A if you want to win the title? Why rest him in Coppa Italia if you're so close to the final? Resting him in Europa League makes sense of course it's the least important competition for Inter this season, almost like a hindrance for them really. Now if Inter are 3 or 4 up with 15-20 mins to go Giroud could get some action or if they are in desperate need of a goal with ten mins to go but it's not enough time for someone looking to get into the France Euros squad but it would still be more action than he gets at Chelsea. That said I think his spot in the Euros squad is already secure, Deschamps loves the guy. But he needs to be playing too. What good is a player who has barely played all season? You'd like your players to have some bit of a rest going into the tournament but not a whole season! So I feel for Giroud but like Eidur said had Giroud moved to Inter he'd be in a similar situation to the one he's in right now at Chelsea, just not as severe but not much more beneficial
