    Marco was the reason I fell in love with Dortmund in the first place around 11 years ago and I thought I would never be able to see him leave the club. It was hard to see him one last time in Westfalenstadio but I think it was the most beautiful farewell I’ve ever witnessed in the history of football… Not only a BVB legend but also a Bundesliga legend. A true icon and he will be remembered by every single BVB fan.
