  1. GK: Rimando (Tim Howard when he returns)

    F: Morris Dempsey

    M: Bedoya Nguyen Kitchen Zardes

    D: Shea Gonzalez Ream Yedlin

It's hard to decide the midfield, Bradley is the captain so he will most likely in the team but there are better options like Nguyen feilhaber and kitchen or trap and replace beckerman in that defensive role. Fowards i choose Morris for his speed and Dempsey beside him for his finishing and experience but you could have Rubin, wood, agudelo, Zardes if you want, etc

  2. CB pairing of Gonzalez and Besler would have change the outcomes of the past two games. Yedlin and Johnson should stay at RB and LB. Williams can be the back up guy for Beckerman. We'll have Howard back on international duty starting in September.

  3. In my opinion guzan has great potential but I think I prefer romando just because he has a better reaction time in my opinion. The US need to need to improve on there defense I think bring two veteran and two new comers like omar Gonzalez and matt beslar Brooks is great but I think I he should start playing RB just so deandre yedlin can play more as RM timmy Chandler had a giving alot of run to other teams this whole gold cup in my eye and ventura Alvarado did pretty good I would keep him I think they should stop bring kyle Beckerman just because he is getting up there in age alejandro Bedoya has improved so I think in midfield should be Alejandro Bedoya Michael Bradley Mix Diskerud and Fabian Johnson but play him in CDM just cause he has experience in playing a defensive role and attacking role up in front you have alot Bobby wood Juan agudelo Aron Johansson and Clint Dempsey as the veteran striker this is all in my opinion

  4. Backline for me:

    Yedlin-Omar-Ream-Johnson

Yedlin and Johnson are both stunning on the over lap, and Ream and Omar's styles of play and physical attributes compliment each other in a uniquely beneficial way.

Ream's higher than average dribbling ability makes him the most versatile out of all the defenders (Excluding old dudes like Evans and Cameron). He can play CB, LB, and if need be, CDM. While he may lack the blazing pace to really be a threat as an outside defender, he makes up for it with positional awareness and a nose for last second kick saves.

Omar is 6'4", aint scared of shit, and he jumps like Vince Carter, which means that when it comes to aerial duels, we have a reliable dog in that fight when he's on the field.

These two compliment each other the same way Aurelien Collin and Matt Besler complimented each other during their years together at Sporting KC. A pulley system of sorts, determined by each player's skill set. Both can normally win aerial duels, and mark most attackers comfortably. Both are proven to be disciplined enough to stay switched on for 90 minutes.

  5. Clarence Goodson was an amazing option for a center defender, very hard to get by, super consistent. I disagreed with all of what klinsman said after the game, it was a team loss, not a mental destruction from the game before. Even he says things like that shouldn't happen. Also Morales from RSL would be a great striker option, and so would Columbus Kamara. Alan gordon proved his aggression, but couldn't prove he was consistent with both his head AND his feet. I personally think it's the offense for the US, if we kept pressing high and creating score opportunities, we wouldn't be blaming the defense as much because now we are on the strong foot, putting immense pressure on the opposing team and giving them less of a chance to score if they don't have the ball! We need more offensive chances that are on target, doesn't even matter about placement at this point, just get lots of shots and majority of them needs to be on target. Also we need more men in the box, more hustle from the mids to make that final play to put the other team behind, we need more players with that kind of commitment! Am I right or am I wrong?
