  1. YouTube commenters, where would you put each member of the ETR at the top in a hangout situation?
    Here are mine:
Wiebe- I got three. Helping to move out. I think he would be focused and put the most honest hours in. He's a midwestern guy and that helps. I think it is slim pickings for this crew and moving out. Most would be complete disasters.
Baby playdates. He would be responsible, pay attention and wouldn't bring his kid over sick. Wouldn't talk too much or too little.
Dorm roommate. Again, it's about balance. He could chill in the dorm or go out. Wouldn't be too loud and wouldn't kick you out when he brought a girl over at late night (couldn't help myself, Wiebs).
Doyle: Dungeon master. I have never played D&D but I could see him throwing himself into it hard and making it legitimately fun. Good sense of humor, likes to make stories, busts chops and get drunker as the night wore on.
Collins: Game night. Enthusiastic and emotive. Low-key super competitive but wouldn't make things awkward because she has great interpersonal skills. Brings the goods for food and wine. Forgot to bring something? Collins has you covered, you are getting partial credit on my awesome spread. No worries.
Carr: Music festival. He knows all the bands coming through. "I know the guitarist. Good guy. Let's go backstage and check 'em out". There is a good chance he will disappear and you will never see him for the rest of the guy though.
Warshaw: Bookclub. He is thoughtful and takes unexpected angles. One minute he is coming up with a great point. The next it's like "what book did this guy read!?!". Then he closes by mixing it up with the host. He's a total wildcard and the only good thing about this boring-ass book club. This is his domain.
Davies: Clubbing. He is a relaxed alpha who can just cut through a crowd. He knows the perfect drink for the occasion. He is setting his friends up like King Wing. Stay in your lane or you are going to be taking a couple trips to the ATM. He can salsa? Yeah, of course he can salsa.
Gass: Road trip or foreign vacation. I want a guy with an engine to keep things exciting and push comfort zones. He loves finding the hidden gems. He is a bottomless pit for food so you always throwing down. He's social and makes friends easily so that helps open doors. I'm guessing he is clutch in a pinch which is absolutely necessary when things get sketchy. Greater than zero chance we end up in jail though *shrugs*. If I made a travel partner in a lab he would basically be Gass.

Wiebe, if you read any of this ridiculous post, how far off am I? Also, it must be tough coming up with content at this time of year, especially with CBA discussions so signings are slowed down.

  2. That late discussion on signings was important. That the league is learning to sign support players, not just stars, is what's needed for teams to make late runs in both CL and the MLS. It's an important maturation.

  3. Would u want the mls In the future to be a league format like in other leagues or do u want the league to be a play of format always and not change it beacuse I think it will be much better for the mls to league table format beacuse it will show who the best team is beacuse this year Seattle Sounders FC won the whole thing but did not finish first I want to hear ur thoughts please
