  1. Neil Mellor, the man , the myth , the legend.
    He scored and then assisted Gerrard!
    He also scored a last minute screamer against Arsenal.
    Didn't get much game time due to injuries but he always played with grit and determination.

  2. im olympiacos fan and believe my team was most unlucky team in history..welldone Liverpool my love but olympiacos deserve this game and of course deserve the second place in this group.. classic match with the most shocking legendary goal..for me this game was the most important match in thia competition for the champions obf Europe in thia season 2004-05

  3. In fact, the paradox is that probably there were more Greeks that celebrated that Gerrard goal than English people. I recall fireworks being shot upwards from around the centre of Athens when the goal went in, the whole country (except its main port) was wild in celebration, whereas in England it was mainly in Liverpool that they celebrated.
