  1. I don't have a full understanding on why they would bring in the likes of Conte/Sarri. Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of getting them out of this position? I think they would need to move on from these types of coaches as this reinforces what all of Italy has been wanting to change.

  2. The problem it is more deeper in Italian football , it is already from 15 years ago collapsing, it is not about coaches , it is about the clubs policies to not give a chance to young Italian players to play , to many foreigners players in Clubs , after 1978 World Cup Enzo Berzo takes the National Team and he promises he will win 1982 World Cup with one condition : not more than 2 foreigners players in each Club : one in game one on the bench ! Italy won the World Club in Spain 1982 , this tell everything , young Italians boys not motivated anymore ,

  3. Italian soccer is in damage control. Need to follow the Japanese J.League where they only allow a certain number of foreign players to play on game day. This allows homegrown players to properly develop and gain proper experience.

  4. Damn , i tought Bosnia win will just lead us to World Cup not to start so many resigns and revolution in Italian football, looks like we did them a favor <3

  5. ok Maldini baggio part of thr FIGC..offer ancellotti the job money no object…and let our talented kids play ain't first teams not loaned out to serie B…C…So our kids can develop into the new pillow del piero totti etc..ITALIAN GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO GET INVOLVED…

  6. Step 1… Complete pverhaul of the entire FA
Step 2. Hire Baggio to implement his ideas with 5 years and results in 10years
Step 3. Hire Don Carlo as the National Team Coach for at least the next 3 tournaments

  7. By ignoring Baggio’s 2011 report the FIGC has already wasted 15 years. No more time to waste. The recommendations in that report should have been implented after Italy failed to qualify for the 2018 WC …and here we are 8 years later?
