Man City became the Voldemort of the Premier League this season. They had the best single season of a team in the Premier League (alongisde Arsenalâs Invincibles) but teams made it easy for them. Man City were virtually never attacked, hustled and harried, they were given the space to play their game and they showed that they can play their game phenomenally well.
When they were attacked with purpose, like Liverpool and Manchester United did, they were suspect and very beatable.
If they can repeat their feat next season, Iâll hold my hands up and proclaim them the all time best Premier League team. Then theyâll have to prove they can do it in Europe
