  1. Here comes the biscuit train has become a regular line i've used!! Also: Ted Lasso will come back at some point, like every great british series, it'll take a few years ago off and be back.

  2. I was the exact same as Gary. Huge football fan here in the States and all my friends were telling me I had to watch it. I told them I watch football every weekend and didn't need to. Glad I did. Just a fantastic series all the way around.

  3. I was honestly sceptical of this show when it first started…but few weeks ago i gave it a shot….just after two episodes from the 1st season and im hooked😂…a good blend of humour and emotional scenes…loved it…hope this show goes far…

  4. It's strange how subdued Jason has been about the role of his lifetime. Maybe he's always like this but I sense a darkness within him, a disturbance in his force. I have spoken, I've said my piece Chrissy

  5. I love how the show felt like this warm embrace between two contrasting (sport) cultures. It really was an homage to all these great American sentimental sports movies, with a healthy dose of self deprecating sascastic British humor. Lasso is almost a charicature, the overly positive folksy American coach, but the show never ridicules him and his outlook and humanizes him in a very effective way. We're generally too cynical in Europe to buy into these kind of sentiments, that's why sport movies are barely a thing here, but there is a reason the US is such a succesful sport country and I love how the show tries to celebrate this. It's not just 'look at these silly Americans give soccer a go'. Football is profoundly emotional and sentimental, as are all sports. Americans understand this beter than we do! PS: And as a Dutch person, the Amsterdam episode was such a treat!

  6. I did watch season 1 when i was in much distress but this series made me feel how many losses comes to life doesnt matter,,,, keep on going on your way to success…. season 3 felt good but sad that we cant watch TED….

  7. I used to hate this show because it always shows up on Apple TV everytime I open the app. Then I try opening it out of hate-curiousity.

Then, when I see it's about football, NICE.. I want to see little bit more. And quicky I fall in love with the show. Had it not about football, I would not have watched more than 5 minutes and the story made me want to watch it every week.

  8. remember the first season liking the show and what it was about, but certain scene's like the commentator scene's just felt a little bit cringe, have to say its grown on me over time very touching at times

  9. ted lasso is just a soap opera that reels in viewers by advertising football. it’s all relationship drama, not good sport show. good drama/soap opera if that’s what ur into. if u watch the show u know it’s a show about kelly who’s not even important to the story at all.
