The only reason England had 60% of the play and appeared to control the game is because Scotland were happy with us passing around at the back for most of the match. If anyone was going to win that game it was Scotland, England looked as though they were playing for a draw. And no player should be tagged as un-droppable, if they're not performing drop them. Whats the point in having multiple options if you're just going to play the same people regardless.

Let's be honest, the objection for the Scotland game was to not lose. We never looked like winning the game or going for the win. If we'd have lost it there would've been uproar. So he played with extreme caution, might as well as been Jose tactics. Everything good about the performance against Croatia went missing against Scotland. Hopefully tonight we'll play with a bit more purpose, because we need the win, and we need to score some goals.

If I was a player, Gareth Southgate would not inspire me one little bit if he was my manager. No personality, no confidence, no passion. I would not want to 'play' for him. His football is so boring and predictable and his team selections are all wrong, playing players out of position and out of form. He is just more of the same, no dynamism, no flair, nothing unexpected and doesn't get the best out of his players. Surely we can do better than this?

Southgate is a good manager for England, but his favouring of players "who come inside" has stifled the attack during this competition, and it's time for a change so that we can utilise the wings and get some crosses in for Kane.
