Man I remember when it was Messi and Ronaldo as the top two players in the world then you had Bale Neymar right behind them as the heirs to the throne but those two stayed up so long that Bale retired whiles Ronaldo is still playing and Neymar I don’t know where the hell he is but Messi still playing , crazy when you really deep it

im surprised noone mentions how unlucky he got as a pro footballer. bale's biggest problem were the injuries. he was one of those players made of glass. he performed in a big way a lot of the times if he was playing but there was never any consistency over a solid period. still a more than decent career with GIGANTIC moments. that guy was zooming around the field and setting of nuclear rockets with that left foot.
It’s the fact you know you can do whatever you want on the pitch and get away with it. Win an ungodly amount of trophies without trying because they’ll be handed to you on a platter by the officials.
