  1. It is a huge step for women football , especially for Turkish women, they may loose today, but they put the seeds for tomorrow to win, congratulations Galatasary.

  2. Das ständige Auspfeifen von Roma durch die türkischen "Fans" ist nicht nur extrem unfair, sondern nervt einfach nur. Weder die Mannschaft noch diese furchtbaren "Pseudofans" sind reif für die Champions League 😖👎

  3. A night of goals in Istanbul, as AS Roma thrash Galatasary 6-1, an eventful game to be on commentary duties for! It all started in just the 7th minute with an incredible moment for Hawa Cissoko, who as a defender doesn't score very often, but marked her Champions League debut with a goal! Roma now have two wins from two but with Lyon and Wolfsburg in the same group still have a lot more work ahead of them to make sure unlike last season the Italian champions reach the knockouts. As for Galatasary it's worth remembering they were formed just three years ago, to in that time become Turkish champions and then come through qualifying to reach the group stages is a huge achievement. This is a group of death and they are the fourth seeds so it was always going to be tough. From speaking to people ahead of my research for this game it's clear that Galatasary getting this far is huge for growing Turkish Women's football which is great to hear about. Big shoutout to the Galatsary fans who were loud all night, and eventually got something to cheer thanks to Andrea Staskova.
