  1. Why has every platform had the same opinion of "It was between Salah and Szoboszlai for motm, but Salah gets it. Another goal and assist."
Are they all deliberately ignoring the fact that Szobo got a goal and assist, too🤔?

I've no issue with Salah being motm. He was clinical as always, but he was noticeably MUCH more hard working defensively. That's something I really never expected! I noticed him a LOT of times sprinting back to help Trent with Doku, and he actually defended better than Trent😂!
Another thing, I'm almost 100% sure he's regained a yard of pace😳! How is that possible?? He was being outpaced all the time last season, but somehow, he seems to be so sharp and rapid pace wise again🤔… he was powering away from defenders and actually pulling away from them!

Szobo was better, in my opinion. He got a goal and assist, and he was absolutely everywhere. Tackling, hassling, pressing.. and he's better on the ball now that his confidence is back.

  2. Carragher is not even a legend just a normal retired footballer, his statement about AFCON proves his racial in built mentality, England National team will not win AFCON with all their media hyped players

Put some respect on Africans and AFCON

  3. The best league in the world! High on cash, low on excitement! Title race over by February, relegation places decided by February (the three teams who came up again), second spot decided, Man City will secure top 4, but tune in every week to see the scrap for 4th place! It's going to be a rollercoaster

  4. I didn't understand as much before why some people dislike Carragher (besides being rude to Kate Abdo at times). I thought he had a good view on quite a few aspects of football. Being Hungarian and hoping for the best for Szobo I think I started to understand that Carragher can be a little narrow sighted regarding players and he just locks in and cannot let go. As if he wouldn't understand (as a former player) what kind of difficulties players have to go through while getting integrated into the team. Szobo clearly overdid it in the first part of his first season and it wasn't maintainable at the time. Then he got injured. Now he plays a more attacking position, but he almost always passed the ball (mostly to Salah). Just recently he started to be more "selfish" when it comes to finishing and he is gradually growing into the role of a #10. Against City he delivered an outstanding performance. I don't think it is fair to talk about needing to look for a #10 right after a performance like this. Maybe Liverpool needs a #10 who might be more complete, more sharp, etc.. But it just dawned on me how Robertson might feel when he is being criticized by Carragher (and then being interviewed by him after a CL game…)

  5. Salah had last summer off for the first time since joining Liverpool he did not have a summer tournament to play in, so he rested and maintained his fitness to go into a solid preseason, his first full preseason as a Liverpool player and that is why he is having such a fantastic season as a 33/34 year old! FIFA and UEFA have got to start letting players have a full off season rest period instead of the usual 2/3weeks rest/holiday if we want to see the best of these players and not just the money for the organisations?!

  6. Sorry Micha but you are WRONG the Afcon cup is NOT a big tournament just look at the viewing figures, literally no one cares about this tournament and its a shame that you saw this as a way to get one over Jamie who could rip you to shreds. The two box ticks please re apply for the job as it should be the BEST person for the job, i wouldn't care if an alien was on the panel along as it deserved the job. Sky needs to sort this soon or it will go down the same way the BBC is ie terminal decline.

  7. Liverpool only won PL 1 time and the CL 1 time with Salah, and in 2020 there was no Ballon dor ceremony which kinda lapped those seasons together. Then Messi took the next one ofc. For the other brilliant years he's had he hasn't won many titles, and unfortunately that seems to be how the ballon dor is scored.
