Utd fans need to see a clear identity with a successful style of play they can get behind which also shows progress. Something Ten Haag has failed to do for his entire time at the club. However, he's not a bad manager imo as "bad" teams don't win cups, but equally he's not an elite manager & never will be. Utd are an elite club who have been badly run for a decade & Ten Haag just doesn't have the stature to succeed at utd. He's good enough to win cups but that's his peak & it just isn't acceptable at a top club like utd if you're not finishing in the top 4 & that's the reality. He's made no progress towards winning the league or Champions League under his tenure & that's what will cost him his job unless he gets at least top 4 this season.
