I agree with Micah. People talk about Isak, Gyokeres, and Marmoush as elite or even world class but overlook Alvarez as he’s a bit smaller than a striker should be. Yet he is more technical than all 3 of them. I am shocked as an Arsenal fan how we and other clubs didn’t go all out for Alvarez. Especially since Arteta loves former city players.

You can say it was a tactical disaster of a game but it was thoroughly enjoyable. There's so much emphasis on tactics nowadays that the games are becoming boring. No one does anything exciting, everything is rigid, you rarely get on the edge of your seat for anything. This felt like a proper old school game and I was all for it.
