  1. VAR: Alvarez touches the ball twice

All the refereeing experts: Alvarez touches the ball twice.

All journalists: Alvarez touches the ball twice.

The $200 ball that has sensors: Alvarez touches the ball twice.

    A certain fanbase: Vardrid

  3. It doesn’t matter, might as well flip a coin, games ending in penalty kick are lamo, they’re DEI, participation-award-worthy, it’s why soccer will never catch on north of the Gulf of America.

  4. Fc Barcelona fan here, however, Atletico was far better than Madrid , there is no way to say it was double kick, in my opinion, wasn’t. Hope Real Madrid lose the next match 😂😅😊

  5. I have noted before how remarkable it is that Real Madrid, the most valuable football team in the world, also happens to be the luckiest. Time after time, in critical moments, they benefit from calls that are undetectable by the human eye. Remarkable!

  6. Don’t know why there’s so many defenders for Atleti. Nobody is talking about how Oblak could have done better against Rudiger’s penalty. They’ve always been overachievers. Stop acting like they can win the entire competition.

  7. Don't even watch UEFA Champions League anymore because it's all RIGGED. How was that not a goal? Final is gonna be Real Madrid vs Bayern or Barcelona

  8. ESPNFC, no shock old Brit Craig Burley yells about 'tradition' and is salty about this decision … Mbappe immediately saw it and yelled to the refs… guy had 2 touches… the VAR got it right … them's the rules.

We can talk all we want that PKs are like using a free throw or 3-point contest to end a basketball game that is a tie… but that is where we are…

the injury risk of having these guys keep playing or the injury / ticket sales, skybox and travel $$$ / TV risk of them doing a replay is too much for UEFA / FIFA to bear.

  9. I feel absolutely terrible for Atletico Madrid players and their fans. Technology has robbed them & the game as a whole in SO many instances. 😞

  10. Another thing more if the Penalty of Julian Alvarez was wrong shoted, why the principal Referee didn't check with the screen. Was a terminal decision and didn't check. It is a important situation that We have to Think

  12. Someone explain to me how Bellingham was allowed to start then stop his run up for his PK…side shuffle steps begins stride stops completely then progresses into his spot kick. 2 separate movements…illegal.

  13. As you can tell I am an avid Madridistas.
I know that our goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, is considered to be the best goalkeeper in the world.
I just wish that he was a much better goalkeeper when it comes to penalty kicks as in my opinion he is not so great.
    Do you agree?
