So France has 2 people of French origin and the rest are from Africa… at this point teams playing under different flags representing different countries means nothing. I'm numb. It's so much more meaningful from a brand perspective when you have "The Germans" vs. "The Japanese" and all their natural local differences (names, size, speed, appearance, cultural tendencies, etc.) are on display and competing.

Deschamps had a disappointing tournament, just like Tuchel. It was obvious that he relied too much on Mbappé. But a coach should build a good relationship with every player on the team.
I especially don’t understand how he handled Dembélé. He’s a Ballon d’Or contender and a Champions League winner, yet Deschamps kept substituting him around the 60th minute. I think he should have trusted Dembélé more and let him play longer.

first off France played better up until the so called pen. There is contact, but Yamal uses his hand to get there first, which is why it shoudln't have stood. If not for the pen, france would've flipped the score 2-0 against spain. This final is clearly scripted, and they are working overtime to make sure Messi has the easiest chance of winning. Even Maradona said Messi is more of a mascot then a player
