That has happened before when rangers played Dortmund in the UEL the primary round and Dortmund missed and went through a hole in the net and no var and rangers still got to the final in 2021/2022

It wasn't even the first time this had happened in a Bundesliga match, Thomas Helmer scored a similar "goal" for Bayern against Nürnberg in the early 90s. The match was replayed, Bayern beat the snot out of Nürnberg (in terms of the scoreline) for wasting their precious time.
