  1. for people that don't understand, you aren't allowed to leave the field of play without the ref's permission. in this case he should have been booked and an indirect free kick given. for the people who mention Bale's goal when he left the pitch, the rule says you are allowed to leave the field of play if you are avoiding an obstruction (eg. teammate, opponent, ref) which is why Bale's goal counted because he left the pitch to avoid Dani Alves.

  2. People are making up rules saying you can’t ever exit the pitch πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™‚οΈ you definitely can it just depends on the circumstances.
