Nakamura deserves to be in the top 3 Champions League free kicks for that one against Man Utd at Parkhead. He beat Van Der Sar at full stretch and hit the side netting from nearly 30 yards out. After scoring a free kick against him in the away leg.

Unpopular opinion but Nakamura because that freekick (from that spot) in both home and away games against Manchester United with the great Edwin Van der Saar in goal. To me, nothing can top that looking at how tall VDS was, how long his arms were and how good VDS was that year
as a united fan i must admit the freekick of Nakamura was top notch. if it was a knockout stage match he would have already knocked us out of the UCL.

Even I have to admit nakamura was the most iconic celtic player I remember as a boy and Iโm saying this as a rangers fan his free kicks were amazing only rangers player I can compare him to free kick wise was jorg alberts although nakamura had better free kicks but Albertz was a better overall player!

Nakas free kicks were out of this world especially the winner at Celtic park from that distance, incredible. Still that goal from Big Hartson at Anfield (0-2) was superb also. A fantastic Celtic side who were the victims of the ridiculous and the only major final settled by the farcical silver goal in Seville HH!
