  1. How about we allow 3 subs during the game as we always have but also allow teams to make an additional 2 subs at half time? No slowing down the game but leaving room for tactical changes and fresh legs. The modern game is about personalities and drama as much as it is about wins and losses. I like 5 subs in this arrangement.

  2. On top of that, rules should have players leave the pitch within 30 seconds. Have them leave from the nearest line instead of having them leave from the midfield line.

  3. I don't like 5 subs cuz it just helps the teams with the most money dominate even more. The big clubs have benches that are more talented than the starters on small clubs. The smaller clubs need teams to be tired to have a fighting chance.
