  1. Despite missing a penalty, the three-time European champions controlled the game well, with Lautaro Martínez and Marcus Thuram stepping up to deliver the crucial goals. Their defense was rock-solid, keeping Feyenoord at bay and ensuring a clean sheet. While the Dutch side showed flashes of quality, they now face a huge challenge in the second leg.

  2. Hands down to Francesco Acerbi and Bastoni. Both were playing a fantastic game in Inter’s left side especially in the wake of Di Marco and Augusto’s injuries. I really hope inter can extend Acerbi’s contract for one more year. He never gave up even with his age. What a strong, consistent and demanding player! Forza Inter!

  3. Martinez and Thuram reigniting old flames at the best time. The defense played great and Bastoni was clinical at the wing-back position, one he doesn't normally play. But with Dimarco, Augusto and Darmian all out Inzaghi was down to very few options. Hopefully we avoid further injuries this weekend and have more availabilities for the second leg. For now, a great win for Inter
