  1. Eric ten Hag did much better, 2 cups in 2 years, they should never have fired him, this is what you get, every club would sign for 2 cups in 2 years.

  2. No good players or coaches should sign for this club. We watched talented managers and players go in and out of this club who had success elsewhere just to get blamed there not top quality once they arrive. Despicable.

  3. So ratcliffe gets rid of cleaners, security guards and canteen ladies, people on the minimum wage, to save money ….yet sacking amorim means he will get more than £10 million as a pay off

  4. It's not about relationships and it's not about personalities. The Dan Ashworth saga is the epitomy of this problem. There was a huge error made hiring and backing a coach that needed extremely specialist players – across the squad – that were not available to perform to the levels required in the Premiere League.

It's become obvious that the traditional Man United style was by far the best route to follow, suiting the squad much better (rather than trying to hammer a square peg into a round hole). Van Nistlerooy came in for a few matches, with his status and experience at the club and had a handful of impressive victories – but was then 'moved on' for a young guy with no Premiere League background and a one-dimensional philosophy.

As Ralph R pointed out many moons ago: The problems go far deeper than managers and players…

  5. the manger would not change from playing 3 at the back that didnt not work and he would not change thats why he got sacked that the fact

  6. Thing is, the share holders and owners choose whatever tactics make more money. Currently, goals make fans, fans buy shirts and tweet about the club, free advertising – more money. Sacking a manager makes more tweets.
