Crazy to think that Cabo Verde took Spain to a nil-nil draw in group play.
in 10 games France will win 7/10 games, but now you lose 1 game and only bcause France was bad and not spain good.
It's more complicated. France is the best attacking team, but they are lazy in the defence. And vs Spain that knows how to keep the ball, they had to defend more, and really struggle to make it to the last 1/3 of the pitch.
However, against Argentine it will be different. Argentine is used to defend more than Francr is and are most vulnorable against counter-attacks. But Spain doesn't counter thar much, they control.
I think it might go 0-0. Spain will control it more. But Argentine is flexible in their attacka and play, more so than France. I think the game can go either way and that Spain won't dominate the match as much as people seem to belive.
It's not just good vs bad teams. It's different styles of play vs eachother. Argentine vs France and Argentine would be smoked. The counter attscks from France would be deadly. I belive Argentine will stand a better chance against Spain.

Why arnt there any French players on the French team?
I think Paraguay showed that France wasn't that good as a team. Spain would've still dominated that game unlike France. Has Spain struggled in a single game other than Cape Verde? They have low scoring games but never look like the lesser team.
Of course this is easy to say after the fact and this dude said it before the match.

Your got to be dumb not think Spain couldn’t compete with France. They have the best midfield players in the world, a solid defence. The only worry for Spain is there a little light up top but technically there better than anyone. The don’t sweep sides aside but concede very little, they control possession & suffocate the opposition when they don’t have the ball.
Called it right from the beginning, they play as a team, it starts at youth level. They all play as one unit. They’ll win it too.
