Spain’s Fernando Torres dazzled the Premier League between 2007 and 2015, playing for both Liverpool and Chelsea. Nicknamed ‘El NiΓ±o,’ the Spanish striker quickly made his mark at Liverpool, forming a successful partnership with Steven Gerrard. In 2008, he finished 3rd in the Ballon d’Or voting, behind Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. In 2011, he moved to Chelsea, winning the FA Cup and UEFA Champions League in the 2011/12 season, before a short spell at AC Milan, a return to AtlΓ©tico Madrid, and eventual retirement with Japanese side Sagan Tosu.

Nostalgia… My favourite save ever on FM2008 was managing Liverpool and signing Berbatov with Torres upfront. They were lethal together,
Supported Liverpool since Michael Owen but I fell deeper with Torres-Gerrard partnership. What a time it was, they were going against the best attackers like Drogba, Shevchenko, Etoo, Tevez, Rooney, Ronaldo, Villa, Aguero just to name a few. Damn if only Liverpool have a striker of his calibre and consistency today, they'd dominate every competition.

Strange that when he played for chelsea,they were full of former or even later liverpool players. Torres himself,Meireles,Benayoun,Anelka Coach Benitez, and even Salah LFC's current player.
