  1. How can I forget Freddie Montero from the sounders and Le Toux from the union… Damn has it really been that long?

edited: I remember watching the timbers and whitecaps debut…. I was excited

  2. 1) Man DC United loves ruining home openers.
    2) Man people act like MLS keepers suck *now*. MLS keepers are leagues better now than they were just 7-8 years ago.

  3. MLS has come a long way, from the fans, to the stadiums, and to the players, it will continue to grow in popularity and quality and I look foward to seeing the future expansion teams!

  4. A lot of new teams recently. I just hope they can all stick around and bring stability to the league. How many teams will they go to? 30?

  5. Two points.

1.) I don't sit with MLS sides using "FC", "City", or "United" (with the exceptions of FC Dallas, and DC United) in their names.

2.) Whoever came up with the idea that Minnesota Uniteds home kit should be grey, is an idiot. How are the players supposed to pick each other out in certain weather conditions?!

  6. Quick story

I grew up in and around Seattle, attended Sounders matches prior to the expansion and they even played at my high school once. Fast forward to just before Christmas 2016 and I'm looking through old boxes of stuff helping my parents sort out their basement. Eventually I came across a match ticket to a Sounders game. I looked at it for a second and realized it was their home-opener remembering that my family and I had gone. I framed the ticket and gave it to my brother as a Christmas gift. Go Sounders!
