  1. I watched that first leg against Bayern Munich, not being aware exactly how good Barca were that season. I expected Bayern to win honestly seeing as largely the same team won the treble 2 years prior and they were now coached by Guardiola, the greatest in the world. I obviously knew about Messi, Xavi and Iniesta, but I remember how stupendously good Neymar was. How was that fair to already have Messi and that midfield, to then get the best player in the world outside of Messi and CR7 as well, and he was only 24.
Honestly thinking back to this is leaves me baffled how a player of that ability at that age is but a footnote in football history now. He was supposed to be more

  2. Man, that Iniesta + Neymar goal vs PSG was the most beautiful football I've ever seen, besides Messi's consistent magic and literally breaking every bone in Boateng to finish it with a chip, and the perfect sync of the team overall. I remember watching it live. Man, I miss this football where all 3 attackers + midfielders would score no matter what. Now football is boring, relying on one big striker to tap it in, 80 minutes of players just passing the ball around, wingers that dribble even the referees for the ball to end at the back on the line and give a goalkick. The only players that excite me these days are Messi in the MLS and Doku at Man City who is evolving like crazy. Everyone else is overrated.

  3. Personal favorite moments of the 14/15 run:
    Suarez's outrageous goal 8:09
Messi stopping the "No dribble past" Boateng (that was like nutmegging VVD at Anfield in 2019) 10:48
The link up MSN 11:40 in the second leg against Bayern
    Neymar's winning goal 14:02 🤩

  4. No offside goals
No undeserved red cards for opponents
No easy roads to finals like Real madrid got in 13/14/15/16/17/18

    Just beating leagues champions
    Psg
    Bayern
    Juve
    Man city
