In some ways, Haaland reminds me of Usain Bolt. Much taller than the average top runner, but somehow makes it work FOR himself, not against. A rarity who manages to turns his physicality to wins.

I'm 47, I've been watching football games and World Cups since childhood (1986 is fuzzy, but 1990 I remember very well), when I learned about Gerd Mûller and his 68 goals in 62 caps, and 14 goals in WCs (10 in 1970, 4 in 1974), I thought nobody will ever come close… And here we are in 2026-7-6, Haaland has 62 goals in 54 games at age 25, his goal per game ratio is higher than the one of Müller. This guy is a goal scoring beast who is already a legend.
