The way Cantona just did his own thing and was always seen as so serious but has now returned as the mellow uncle anyone would want who's always up for a laugh and doesn't take himself too seriously at all. Reckon Zlatan might be the last of the proper mavericks, marched to their own tune and left a mark on football for generations to watch back and enjoy…the game no longer has room for someone like Cantona I fear. Such a shame…
these nostalgia sessions are getting old
What a geezer he is!
Those chairs are too high for the desk.
I still can't believe that he retired at the age of 30/31, utd were after winning their 4th title in 5 years and he walked away, but rating cantona to the players manchester united have had, he's definitely my favourite player, the man almost single handedly won the premier league in 1996 for utd, scoring alot of winning goals that season l
"See their eyes"
He's become massively underrated as time has gone on. He won the league in this country in every season he placed, bar one where he was banned for months. People just look at stats now. Cantona > Bergkamp. The fact a few will laugh at that when at the time that would be accpeted as obvious says a lot.
Personally, Erics volley against Wimbledon in the fa cup is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
Cantona – Legend – enough said
Cantona doesn’t get spoke about enough when talking about prem legends
Why did he retire at such a young age?
Matt Le Tissier had a better goal to game ratio than Eric Cantona. It would be interesting to hear their views about him.
Give it to me I’ll deal with it. What a leader
So where Man U. Now they are down there with the rest 😉👍
He was the man for the big games. Utd had no right to win the league the year they pipped Newcastle. And Eric was the main reason.
Keano sideline shades Cantona, couldn’t even include him in his starting United XI – cantona wasn’t the missing piece of the jigsaw, he put the jigsaw together
😊
The King… Absolutely emblematic for us and obviously the whole PL.
That volley against Wimbledon
💛💚💛
Cantona is King!!! 👑
This team was unique, a great manager, some charismatic leaders, some young talents and they are all loyal to the club.
