Italian goalie blew it on both goals. After the saves instead of catching the ball and holding on she punched the ball out directly to the English players. And Savarini was still frustrated from missing a sure goal and foolishly made the ultimate mistake. Whether it was a PK foul is up for debate but she's to blame for taking the chance of making a play like that.
Italy was clearly the better team. After scoring, they should’ve avoided engaging too much, focused on defense, kept the ball, and waited for the right chances—they had nothing to lose, unlike England.
