Cole Palmer was player of the tournament at last years club world cup in the USA surely that experience and proven ability in those conditions are a massive positive. He should be on the plane. I would have taken him instead of Madueke. England have one plan and it revolves completely on how Kane likes to play, he drops deep and he'll want runners. The forwards in wide positions have pretty simular profiles, they want to run away from the ball into space. It's very simular to how Bayern play but maybe with the fullbacks sitting more as Tuchel I think is more cautious than Kompany. I also think he's missed a trick in not bringing Colwill. his passing out of defense is excellent which will break the lines and get england going forwards, he was also part of the club world cup (i dont support chelsea). I would also have taken Maguire instead of Burns, because he has more experience and he is simply a better player. i wouldnt have taken Stones because he's not played 90 minutes since August. I would have taken Lewis Hall instead of Spence because he has been the best English left back in the premiere league and has proven himself in the champions league. Or you could take Shaw as left back great experience and playing well. Jordan Henderson is baffling I'd take Garner as an Anderson understudy or Wharton for his progressive passing.

Defensively they are weak in terms of midfield they are decent and they have a great attack but the team isn't that good. France have a better attack, Spain have a better midfield, Pretty much every top nation has a better defense. England's team isn't that good it's lacking quite badly in terms of quality and depth. The only two standout players who will make a difference will be Kane and Bellingham, Rice just sideways passes can't pass forward and our defenders are average at best and we will get caught on counters and Pickford will concede like he does 9/10 times Pickford is an ok goalkeeper nothing special. and Our midfield will get outworked and outclassed by the Spanish or the French and players such as Yamal Nico Williams kvartsheklia doue barcola will easily breeze past any defense England has not to mention Kane won't even get the ball since Pickford's distribution is horrendous as displayed at the 2024 euros. Nico oreilly commits for challenges he can't win and constantly lacks the ability to make the forward passes and loses possession constantly, Geuhi makes many mistakes whether that is back passes horrendous marking or bad communication with pickford this has gone on since he has played for england we have seen this in friendlies and the euros 2024. John stones is RIDDLED with mistakes I wouldn't even risk him at the back, our wingers lack ther ability to cut inside and go for a 1 on 1 gordon is an average winger who is just as wasteful as sterling was Madeueke is average as well. The biggest problem with the team is that the entire defence is just average and they don't work well together. I have watched these players for their clubs and they do well internationally they are average players. You think Konsa and Geuhi are good enough to win the world cup? Majority of our defenders are attacking minded or play more of a midfield role and with Pickford in goal they don't stand a chance I'm telling you. Not to mention the squad depth just isn't there compared to other nations. Spain and france etc will be fresh and fit in the quarters england won't. Kane and bellingham and rice will be overworked in every game and not be effective against the big teams.

Tuchel is a brilliant mind, i’m not an English supporter but, he’s to be trusted with in terms of decisions and tactics. That being said Morgan Gibbs-White not being taken is a decision that I sort of wish didn’t happen because he’s a very passionate and clinical player. Trent not being selected is a wild yet understandable decision he made. I wouldn’t know what to do with him if I were in that position. Morgan Rodgers I kind of doubt, I do feel like Gibbs-White could’ve been a better choice seeing how in form Gibbs-White can be

Palmer hasn't put many good performances in this season and I'd say he's the best of the cuts. On a good day he's in.
