Can we stop calling players like Efrain ALvarez who we know will never ever be a starter in the national team ! THis is what i will never understand, as there are role players that we all know will never make first team players nervouse to lose their starting spot. Like the whole point of gathering a team or selecting players is to find players who will challange for spots. DUDES been playing in MLS for years and has no desire to leave to Europe so we should 100 percent be done with him and look for another mexican youth player. ALso the national team is a perfect place to give a young player minutes and more teams will take notice and offer money. But we all know the Mexican Sponors pick the teams and so its not to their beneift to have players try to take first team plaers spot because the first team player they sponor will be benched. Also side note Efrain ALverez is AMerican and plays for MLS so its so much easier for him to request a European move than a mexican whos fighting with the Mexican clubb demanding absurd money and the work VISA problems in Europe. Dude has no Ganas to do anything in football than rot in MLS
