Egypt World Cup Manager Shoves Dallas Cop in Heated Scuffle: ‘Back Off!’

Egypt’s national team manager was involved in a heated altercation with a Dallas police officer while at their hotel on Thursday, July 2, the night before the team’s knockout match against Australia, according to local news reports.

Footage filmed by Trenton Ryan shows a Dallas police officer approaching a man wearing a black “Egypt” staff shirt while a player was taking a photo with a young fan.

The man was identified in reports as Ibrahim Hassan, team manager and brother of Egyptian coach Hossam Hassan.

The officer got in between Hassan and the player, pushing the team manager back as other Egypt staff members started getting involved in the altercation.

  1. There has to be some crazy misunderstanding, ive delt with police in my youth in the USA aa long as your complaint and follow their directions there's no problem.

Only 1 i had a bad experience he was having a bad day maybe or…

  2. What an idiotic police officer. Should be fired at the spot and removed of all benefits, only to make him realize how imbecile he was – Egyptian team taking pictures with children during World Cup… # America

  3. The cop put his hands on the older gentleman first from 0:04 to 0:08, tapping him multiple times, then yelling, and shoving the man. That is what set off the manager. Don't think for one second that all those cops there would not have arrested the manager if he was in the wrong. But instead they restrained the cop.

  4. Before the cop pushes him, if you look close, youll see the guy put his hands on the cops arms/chest area, thats when the cop explodes. If you look, you WILL see those hands on the cop before he starts yelling "BACK OFF!" and he pushes the coach.
