I’ve had friends on the football team have parents call them racial slurs AUDIBLY TO THEIR FACE in the middle of a play or while their on the bench. It’s crazy to me how some parents feel so entitled to their child’s success they think their above other parents children.
my dad actually was my soccer coach, thankfully he wasn’t toxic and made sure everyone on the team got equal play time(besides our goalies we only had two so they switched at half time!)
I guess because he received a best dad ever t-shirt for his birthday. He thinks he REALLY has it locked down. Monday morning quarter backing is what you call this.
It’s always the worst when parents are trying to coach. They end up getting in the kids heads and then yell at their kid. Thank you for your content man, this means a lot.
Years ago at my sons baseball game I told my husband: just be very quiet and listen to the other parents…they all sounded ridiculous, we haven’t yelled or even cheered since.

Amen sir, I don’t like people telling kids they stink when we are all in this as a team. My coach said everyone plays if they are on the team.
My parents never ever ever even asked me about the games or sports I played and they wonder why I quit and don’t want to play anymore
