  1. whatโ€™s up with this ladyโ€™s accent, itโ€™s off. I canโ€™t tell what it is but itโ€™s like itโ€™s Scottish, English and american all at once

  2. Are there even any decent US coaches ๐Ÿ˜‚

Events like the CA are light years higher level than whatever the top league in the US is, let alone the WC with a hefty load of top tier European teamsโ€ฆ

  3. The countries that typically produce best managers are Argentina, Italy, Spain, Germany, Netherlands, and maybe Portugal or even Croatia. America lags far behind in the intellectual capital that's needed to produce great managers. Imo, high schools need to offer elective tracks to young folks who may want to be managers in the future.

  4. News flash my guy…. You can be a coach from another country and still be able to speak English. You don't have need to be a coach from America to be able to speak English! ๐Ÿ‘€

  5. No Americans need a coach who can take them to the top who cares if he speaks lousy English. Some talent is present, a coach who can work with young players.

  6. You need a coach who is on top of things. Who can bench the biggest star if he is. Aproblem in the lockerroom. Language is not a problem.
    Greetings from Croatia

  7. American coaching is far behind European and South Americans. It's just arrogance to expect to beat teams better than you when you handicap yourself with a poor coach.

  8. They donโ€™t need an American coach. They need some players that can play soccer. Europe and South America are so far ahead with much fewer numbers.

  9. I mean for national teams I can see why federations hire from their own country. Like what if the coach is from the country theyโ€™re playing against in the KO round and they lose? Everyone will be saying the coach lost on purpose and if youโ€™re hiring a top coach theyโ€™re going to be from one of the top countries. Other countries just have the luxury of having top coaches who are also from that country ๐Ÿ’€

  10. The american football national team doesn't succeed because in the USA football is a sport too unpopular.
If you want for instance USA to win a world cup (I think it will never happen in the history of the universe) the first thing you must do is to change culture: you have to give priority to football over all other sports (maybe not nba ok, but in the rest of the world nobody cares about hockey, american football or baseball).
