Lingard is crafty. He's used the 'youth' card despite being in his late 20s. Then when he plays bad he uses the mental health card which is a great barrier to deflect poor performances. Then he will get a game against someone poor in Europe or League Cup and that fuels his social media presence which is all he is concerned about.
