With respect to Ole's position, for me it's not about the results, but the style of play. The late draw against Burnley says far more about Ole and the coaching staff than the 8 wins. A lot of comments on here ask why Ferguson's backroom staff were dismissed by Moyes; they wouldn't stay and work with him so walked away. The fact that Phelan was prepared to come back shows how good he thinks Ole I'd.

The difference between the when Jose was there to now is the fact that you can imagine in Jose's team talk it would be "you play for me, you do what I say". With ole (who loves untd, as you can see in his interview when he was managing norde, when he spoke of untd, he literally lit up) he'd say "you play for the badge and if you listen to me, you'll do the badge proud.

No decision on who will be the next manager of Man United should be taken in January. Let's wait a while and see how Ole deals with the job after a few months. Everybody talking about his resume and experience at Molde…let me ask you, did Guardiola have a major resume before he was appointed as Barca? Did Zidane at Real? Yes, they had some decent moments with youth teams, but the most important thing is they knew how to play and what the club itself was all about. Ole ticks all the boxes and has had a hell of a start. Let's see how the year goes, but he ticks all the boxes that the club requires.
