  1. Messi may beat Maradona with the all the stats and trophies but IMPACT never! The feeling you get when you watch Diego play cannot be described. Just the name MARADONA gives you a different feeling.

  2. People these days talk about Messi or Cristiano but the ones who grew up with Diego know that he’s The Greatest of all-time.
What he did with Napoli we will never see again.
It’s like Messi or Cristiano going to Monza and make them Champions but they never did.
They went to clubs with a ton of superstars….Diego did it all by himself and that’s why He’s the Goat.

  3. Ironically, it's the deification of Maradona that in part helped him lose his mind and seek further sanctuary in drugs. He was mobbed everywhere and consequently it was only on the football pitch where he felt most human and normal.

  4. I see people talk about Messi, Ronaldo, Christiano. They all played in great teams with great players.
    Diego always chose the underdog.
For me, he really was the greatest player to ever live

  5. In a place so hard, where mafia rein, the way they love maradona still shows how much respect they had for him.

He made there team world famous, just because he wore there shirt and made them italian champions.

No other player could of put napoli on the map of italian football.

Its lovely to see that after all these years, and after maradonas death napoli are again champions of italy, just as argentina became champions of the world.

We would never of heard of napoli, if maradona had not of worn there shirt, and that shows the impact he had on that city, and team.

  6. I'm 23 but even I know what impact Diego had in people lives not only in Argentina or Naples but from South America to Asia.
There will never be another Maradona.

  7. Fottballers may come and go but there will only be one Diego. Messi & Ronaldo can make all the records but what Diego had on and off the pitch is what makes him the 🐐. The charisma and larger than life persona is what connects Diego with the people.

  8. Human beings are such sheep. A horrible human being who was amazing at kicking a ball has respect of millions? Once again human beings prove that "values" are nothinng more than their ego looking for a personality
